UASF academic staff participated in the workshop on development and improvement of curricula, within the project “Euphoria” at Nottingham Trent University

Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance and Infrastructure of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), Prof. Assoc. Dr. Afrim Loku and Lecturer, Mrs. Leonora Haliti Rudhani (Academic Development Coordinator) took part in the curriculum development and improvement workshop at Nottingham Trent University in England, within the Euphoria project, which is part of the Erasmus + program.

During this 5 day workshop, trainees were provided for participants to develop and improve their curricula by targeting market, writing and learning outcomes (WLO) in modules and implementing these WLO results within their programs. This way of curriculum development aims to increase the employability and readiness of graduate students for the labor market.

Also, participants met with the students of Nottingham Trent University of Entrepreneurship Program, who were currently involved in the labor market, and they had the chance to hear from them their experiences as they were prepared for the job market.

During this workshop, participants had the opportunity to get from the best practice experiences from two British universities: Staffordshire University and Nottingham Trent University, regarding module organization and student assessment.

The project “Euphoria” aims to create and strengthen the links of cooperation between universities and enterprises, with the aim of capacity building in the manufacturing and industrial area.
