Thaqi is a member of the Governing Council, elected by the Senate of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, a role he has held since 2021. He is also an Assistant Professor in Economics and Marketing in the Faculty of Management.

He completed his Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree and Doctorate in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics, at the University of Prishtina.

He started his academic career in 2014, as an assistant in Economics in the Faculty of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, at the University of Prishtina. He has been a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj since 2016.

He has published scientific works in the fields of economics and marketing. He has also been a participant in several scientific conferences, where he presented his research in the field of marketing.
