The “University Document Management System” developed by UASF students is being promoted.

The promotional event for the “University Document Management System (UDMS)” was held at UShAF, developed for the University’s needs by first-year students in the “Applied Informatics” program at UASF.

Students: Valdrin Hasallari, Agron Haziri, Agona Bytyçi, and Sedat Berisha, after several months of work, led by Associate Professor Dr. Fakije Zejnullahu, finalized the University Document Management System as a specified task within the evaluative activities of two courses: “Database” and “Object-Oriented Programming.”

This system will facilitate and improve the registration process, and management of decisions, regulations of all kinds, and other documents produced by the administration of UShAF, allowing access to documents for verified and authorized individuals.

The Rector of UShAF, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, pleased with the students’ work, congratulated them and the professor on the project, stating that the implementation of this system at the University will commence immediately, and from now on, all documents will be registered and retrieved through this system. He assured all participating students in the event of continuous support for their innovative activities, in the interest of the University and the community as a whole.

Meanwhile, Professor Fakije Zejnullahu expressed her satisfaction in working with these students, stating that this is the first, but not the only project realized by first-year students in the “Applied Informatics” program. She also mentioned that many such similar activities will follow from other students, as they were very active and dedicated throughout the academic year. The professor wished for more students like them to join our University.

The full functionality of the system and its capabilities were presented at this event by the students, while the Source Code, along with user manuals, were handed over to the Rector of UShAF.
