UASF continues with International Co-operations – Memorandum of Understanding with the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences

Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari and Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Bujar Pira, during their official visit to Salzburg, Austria, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, respectively with the Rector of this University, Prof. Dr. Gerhard Blechinger and Managing Director, Dr. Doris Walter.

The Memorandum of Understanding with this higher education institution aims at deepening the cooperation between the two institutions, which started in 2007, in academic programs, exchange of academic staff for the purpose of participating in joint teaching, joint research, joint cultural conferences and programs, exchange of students, etc.

During this visit, which took place from 28 February to 2 March, was held the kick-off meeting between UASF and the  Salzburg University of Applied Sciences within the framework of the advanced program partnership project “Industrial cooperation in product design education”, which will be implemented between the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF) and the  Salzburg University of Applied Sciences of  (SUAS) with the support of the HERAS project.

The project will focus on the continuous development of academic and scientific skills of students and prepare them for the labor market in Ferizaj and the region, taking into account the experiences from Salzburg, Austria.

Rector Bajraktari and Vice Rector Pira also met with representatives of the tourism department at this University where they talked about drafting a new program in Master studies at UASF.
