Prof. Dr. Muhamet Ymeri is a member of the Sreering Council of the University of Applied Sciences, elected by the Senate on 24 March 2016.

Prior to election to this post, Mr. Ymeri was a member of the Senate of the University of Prishtina, from 2012 to 2015.

From 2009 to 2014, he was Head of Wood Industry Department / Design in Wood and Wood Technology,  Faculty of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, University of Prishtina

Assistant / Lecturer at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, Faculty of Applied Technical Sciences in Ferizaj, from 01.10.2007 to 2017.

From 31.07.2017, he holds the title Assistant Professor.

From his work as assistant / lecturer and professor, he is mentor of dozens of diploma thesis, in the bachelor’s cycle.

There are three scientific papers published as the first author and many works as co-author in many professional and scientific journals in the world. There are also many scripts published for the courses taught by him at the University.

He is an active participant in the performance of the wood industry in Kosovo for 32 consecutive years, and in many different activities and posts:

• Member of the Assembly and the Steering Council at the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, from 2005 to 2017.
• From 2013 to 2017, Vice President of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce.
• Co-founder of the Association of Wood Processors of Kosovo and its vice president from 2005 to 2008.

Participant in many conferences, worshops, fairs and various events in the Wood Industry industry, especially in the interconnection of the Industry with Vocational Schools and the University.
