Prof. Asoc. Dr. Thaçi is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Wood Technology, at the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj.

He completed his Doctorate in 2013, at the Faculty of Forestry Sciences, at the Agricultural University of Tirana, and his Master’s Degree, in 2005, at the same university. In 2018, he became an Associate Professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, where he is a professor of Eco-Design, Ergonomics, Interior Design and Sustainable Ecology.

He is an expert in the fields of Forest Sciences, Wood Technology and Sustainable Ecology.

In addition to his academic commitments, he has served as a member of the Senate of the University of Prishtina as well as an advisor to the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development in Kosovo.

He has published a number of scientific articles and participated in national and international conferences on various topics about teaching, forests, environmental protection, and wood science.

He speaks English as well as his native Albanian.
