Rector Bajraktari as Keynote Speaker at the 13th International Conference on Wood Drying in Instanbul,Turkey

Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, took an official visit to Istanbul, Turkey, where he is participating in the 13th  International Conference on Wood Drying in Developing Countries, organized by IUFRO (International Union for Forestry Research Organizations).

Participants in this conference are well-known researchers from the field of wood industry from many countries of the World, where wood drying works are being presented, with a particular focus on: the quality of wood drying and its features,  applications  methods during the drying process, physics of wood drying and modeling , alternative wood drying methods and technological processes during wood drying.

At the Conference, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Conference as well as invited as the keynote speaker. Rector Bajraktari was presented with the presentation titled “Wood Industry and Drying of Wood Industry in Developing Countries, Kosovo as a Case Study”, where he talked about the wood and wood industry before and after the war in Kosovo, forest resources, export and import of wood products.
