Rector Bajraktari participated in the Summit of Cultivating the Globally Sustainability Self.

Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, during his official visit to the United States, participated in the third annual meeting of the Summit series on Cultivating the Globally Sustainability Self.

At this meeting, which was held for four days in “James Madison” University in Harrisonburg in Virginia, Rector Bajraktari gave a lecture on the topic: Social and Cultural Transformation in Kosovo: a national case study.

The Rector, during his speech, in front of many participants talked about different periods in which our country has been, which had a major impact on society and Albanian culture in Kosovo. The summit meeting is a series of institutional initiatives and aims to promote the transformation of teaching and research practice-based learning.

Summit is concentrated in five key dimensions of global issues, including conflict resolution, human rights, sustainability, global education, understanding the culture and religion.

This annual organization was established in 2015  researchers and professors from well-known universities meet every year to discuss strategy and find new opportunities for targeted projects under the umbrella of the Summit topics.
