Rector Bajraktari and some students from UASF participated in the International Fair of Furiniture “Albania 2017”

Senior officials of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), together with some students from Design of Furniture& Wood Technology Faculty, and Hospitality and Tourism, headed by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari took part in the International Fair of Furniture “Albania 2017”.

During this professional visits, students were informed closely with contemporary achievements in the field of woodworking technology and design, as well as machinery in the industry. Students had the opportunity to learn how to manage and marketing large and small companies, as well as the placement of products in the local and international level.

On the functioning of the wood industry in the region, students were informed from Eng. Ramadan Topuzi, which chronologically, compared the scope development of woodworking in Albania and beyond.

Rector Bajraktari, appreciated this visit as a good opportunity for students to look closely market opportunities, and to conclude about the current consumer taste.

Fair ( Albania 2017 ) is in its 14-th year activity at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, Albexpo Group in collaboration with the Association of Wood  Processors of Albanian ( AWPA)  and the Association of Wood Processors of Kosovo ( AWPK).

This fair is organized annually and has the aim of presenting wood design products from local and foreign companies.
