On the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), a solemn ceremony was organized, during which the UASF Senate awarded recognition to members of the academic and administrative staff, in appreciation for their contribution, professionalism, dedication and continuous engagement in the development and advancement of the university.

The recognition was awarded by the Rector of UASF, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, who thanked the staff for their work and dedication over the years, emphasizing that the university’s successes are the result of the joint efforts of the academic and administrative staff.

In his speech, Rector Bajraktari stated that UASF is today the highest-quality university in the country and the only higher education institution directly linked to the labor market, offering study programs that respond to the real needs of economic and social development.

“We have worked hard and achieved a lot. No one and nothing can stop us from moving forward and developing this institution even further. The results we have achieved are proof of our dedication and continuous work, while our goal remains to make UASF even more successful in the years to come”, emphasized Rector Bajraktari.

During the ceremony, the Rector also recalled that this day coincides with the Day of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army War, expressing respect and gratitude for their contribution to the country’s freedom. He expressed his belief that the 12th anniversary of the establishment of UASF will be celebrated together with the liberators who, according to him, are being unjustly held in The Hague.

The recognitions given by the Senate of UASF to the academic and administrative staff are an expression of institutional appreciation for the contribution of each one in strengthening academic and scientific activity, institutional development, raising the quality of higher education and fulfilling the mission of the University.

The ceremony took place in a solemn and festive atmosphere, marking another important moment in the journey of UASF, an institution that for 11 consecutive years has demonstrated commitment to quality, innovation and the preparation of professional staff for the labor market.
