The University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the “Kosovo Business Association”, opening new opportunities for joint initiatives between the university and the private sector in Kosovo.
This memorandum aims to build lasting ties for the exchange of expertise, experience and shared resources, with the aim of better preparing students for the labor market and contributing jointly to the country’s economic development.
The Rector of UASF, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, accompanied by the Vice-Rectors, welcomed the delegation of the Kosovo Business Association, led by the President, Mr. Besart H. Dreshaj, and emphasized the university’s readiness for such cooperation. He assessed that advancing the partnership between the university and businesses is among the university’s strategic objectives, emphasizing that deepening cooperation with industry enables students to gain real experiences closely related to the demands of the labor market.
On the other hand, the President of the Kosovo Business Association, Mr. Dreshaj, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the business sector and higher education. He announced that this connection is expanding networking and cooperation with higher education institutions and various chambers, both inside and outside the country. According to him, such cooperation directly affects the economic development of the country, creating concrete opportunities for job growth.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation of the Kosovo Business Association was accompanied through the University premises, where it had the opportunity to get acquainted closely with the modern facilities and conditions offered to students. Partly satisfied with what they saw, the representatives of the delegation expressed their willingness to continue with concrete joint projects that will contribute to the sustainable development of education and the economy in the country.
