At the solemn opening of the Fair, the Rector of UShAF, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari thanked the attendees for participating in this important event for the University.

“We are very happy that UASF is a co-participant in the organization of this Fair, which is the fifth in a row of this kind. We hope that in the future, in cooperation with the Municipality of Ferizaj, we will make it a tradition to organize the Job and Career Fair together every year. Our university has a very close and stable cooperation with the industry, this cooperation is giving extraordinary results in the education and development of higher education in Kosovo, because by working together with them, we are getting to know better the requirements of of the labor market, which are then transferred to our programs at the university and in this way our students are benefiting from skills and dexterity so that once they graduate they will be professionally ready to respond to the demands of the labor market”, said the Rector .

Also, the Rector mentioned the companies participating in the Fair, from the Ferizaj region, which offered many places for regular work, in various fields, as well as practical work for students and graduates of UASF and beyond. Also, he said that the great interest of companies to participate in the Fair is a great motivation for the University to work even more on its development. The rector said that this shows their trustworthiness in UASF and for this he thanked them and promised that UASF will continue to be by their side and will always consider their requests to achieve continuous success in the further development of the University. which also fulfills his mission.

Whereas the deputy mayor of the municipality of Ferizaj, Mr. Lulzim Aliu expressed his happiness with the presence of companies in this Fair and among other things he emphasized that this is a reflection of a very good initiative undertaken by the Directorate of Economic Development.

The attendees were greeted and thanked by Arjeta Vula-Pozhegu-Director of the Association of Wood Processors, Kumrije Kelmendi-Aliu-Advisor from GIZ and Naim Gashi-Director of the Regional Employment Center in Ferizaj.

In order to find potential workers, in this Fair, more than 50 companies from different sectors presented their new positions, offering more than 200 jobs, in which case a significant number of UASF students will benefit from employment. .
