Milihate Aliu is a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics at University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj. She received a B.Sc. in 1990 and M.Sc. in 2004from the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Mathematical-Natural Science, Department of Chemistry, Republic of Kosova. She received herPhD in Chemistry Sciences from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Institute of Chemistry, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia in 2011. From 1996 to 2006 she worked at the Faculty of Mathematical-Natural Science, Department of Chemistry, University of Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo as teaching assistant, from 2002 to 2004 she worked as teaching assistant at State University of Tetovo, Republic of Macedonia and from 2004 to 2011she worked at Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo as teaching assistant. She was Coordinator for Kosov’s network CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) “Science without borders – Bridge between Central Europe and Balkan”CII-SI-0409-01-0910andCII-SI-0409-02-1011.

In 2012 she was elected Assistant Professor at University of Prishtina. From 2017 to now she is with University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, Republic of Kosovo as Associate Professor.From 2017 she has been working Part Time as a Professor at Fama College in Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo.

From 2013 she is a Member of Academic Women Network of Academic Center for gender equality, Member of the Committee for bachelor studies, Faculty of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (2013 – 2015) and Member of educational / scientific council, University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, (2015 –  2016). From 2016 to now she is a Member of the Steering Council in University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj.

Asoc. Prof. Dr. Milihate Aliu is the author of one book, 10 papers (9 published in the Web of Science bases, Scopus, Science citation index, PubMed), 15 presentations and 60 SCI citations. Her research interest is in environmental pollution and monitoring.From 1.09.2009 – 1.10. 2009 she has beenat the Institute of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia in Training for the development of Analytical methods in heavy metal research in various samples with the application of ICP-MS and ICP- AES.

Professor Aliu speaks English, Macedonian and Serbo-Croatian.
