Spahiu is a member of the Governing Council, elected by the Senate of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, where he has worked as a lecturer since 2021.

He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Spatial Planning at the University for Business and Technology in Prishtina, and his Master’s Degree in Architectural and Parametric Design at POLIS University in Tirana, Albania. He is currently studying for his Doctorate at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia.

From 2014-2020, he was a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning at the University for Business and Technology, Kosovo.

He has designed a large number of architectural projects both in Kosovo and internationally. He received the 2023 BIG SEE Award in architecture held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, having designed the interior of the Mr Fisher Restaurant in Prishtina, Kosovo.

With his vast experience in the field of architectural software, he has received several important international certifications from multinational engineering software company, Autodesk. In 2019, he was certified with a platinum badge, the highest level of teaching for an Autodesk Certified Instructor.
