Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program, at the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), a roundtable discussion was held on the topic “Learning with the student at the center, opportunities and challenges in higher education in Kosovo”, with experts on reforms in higher education (HERE).

The Rector of UASF, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari welcomed all the participants and thanked Erasmus+ for the support and cooperation to raise the quality of higher education.

Meanwhile, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Bujar Pira, who is also part of HERE, spoke about the importance of teaching the student at the center.

In this round table, there was a discussion about the methodology in learning with the student at the center, as well as the challenges and opportunities for teachers to apply this methodology. The presentation on the topic in question was held by Prof. Ass. Dr. Xhavit Rexhaj.

Mimika Dobroshi, Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo, spoke about the role of the Erasmus+ Office and HERE experts, who operate within this Office in the development of higher education in Kosovo.

Present at the table were: Rector of the University of Peja, Prof. Dr. Armand Krasniqi and representatives of public universities and private colleges of Kosovo.
