After an application and testing process, the GEG Kosovo project has selected 20 students from the public universities of Kosovo who study Engineering, and the girls of UASF are included in this list.

Now they are attending training to prepare CVs and cope with job interviews, to learn how to create personal brands and how to communicate effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity for girls to gain important knowledge and skills to prepare for a successful career in Engineering.

GEG, in partnership with Limak Kosovo and United Nations Development Program in Kosovo, is helping students in Kosovo to become more confident and ready to become part of the labor market in the field of Engineering.

Before the lectures began, the beneficiary girls received a tablet to follow the online lectures and a scholarship of 50 euros, which enables them to attend this training without worrying about expenses. We hope this opportunity will give students more confidence and awareness to achieve their goals in the field of Engineering.

After the training, 20 girls will continue the practical work, planned within this project.

The five UASF students who benefited from the GEG project are:

  1. Blerona Duga, Applied Informatics, first year
  2. Erona Sejdiu, Applied Informatics, first year
  3. Rinesa Osmani, Industrial Engineering with Informatics, second year
  4. Mimoza Curroja, Industrial Engineering with Informatics, second year
  5. Anisa Dogani, Industrial Engineering with Informatics, third year.

As a sign of respect, the girls were welcomed to the meeting by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Agron BAJRAKTARI and the management staff of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics/UASF, who encouraged them and wished them further success.
