The University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF) hosted a delegation from SAXION University of Applied Sciences in the framework of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation and signing a Cooperation Agreement with this university.

The Dutch university delegation was led by Janco Bonnink, Student Services Manager, and consisted of:

  • Christiaan Kiffen; Manager Safety & Security Programmes
  • Joyce te Bos; Manager Research Group Resilient Democracy; researcher
  • Anne Wichers; Erasmus coordinator Saxion
  • Gerry Stegeman; Head of Internationalization School of Governance, Law and Urban Development; researcher
The delegation was received by the Rector of UASF, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, and the university’s management staff.

Rector Bajraktari expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two institutions, emphasizing that both universities of applied sciences share common ambitions for academic and research development, oriented towards practice and cooperation with industry.

During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed, establishing a framework for collaboration on the following areas:

  • Exchange of students and academic staff
  • Joint or double degree programs
  • Joint scientific research
  • Training and other academic projects
  • This cooperation marks an important step towards the internationalization of UASF and offers new opportunities for students and academic staff.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation from SAXION University of Applied Sciences visited the UASF premises, where they were closely acquainted with the university’s infrastructural capacities and laboratories.
