The Austrian Company “Blum” with its products, soon part of laboratory of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Wood Technology, at UASF

Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari received today the representative for Kosovo of the Austrian company “Blum” Mr. Miroslav Stanonik and the representative for Albania, Mrs. Violeta Gashi.

During the meeting was discussed about the possibility of cooperation between UASF and “Blum”, they agreed that in the near future for our institution, this company will donate a machine to the opening of channels for the placement of accessories, accessory, catalogs, etc.

Also, through its representatives, “Blum” will give instructions to UASF staff and students about the process of functioning of these mechanisms in relation to the processes in the wood processing industry.

Rector Bajraktari thanked ”Blum” representatives for their willingness to cooperate with UASF and announced them with the curriculum related to wood processing, the number of students who possess these programs and the subjects related to the part of the mechanisms above.

Also, the Rector spoke for the Industrial Board, which is part of UASF , as well as for the largest companies in Kosovo, which deal with wood processing and are part of this Board. He also stressed the assistance that this Board offers to the participation during the drafting of UASF curricula.

Among other things, the Rector also spoke about the way students conduct their practice, as well as the wood processing laboratory, which is in the final stage of completion.

Meanwhile, representatives of the “Blum” company thanked the rector for the hospitality and willingness to cooperate and promised to be in contact to see how they can help the only applied science institution in Kosovo.
