UASF and the University of Granada sign Memorandum of Cooperation

The Rector of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, at the invitation of the University of Granada (UGR) in Spain, carried out a working visit to this institution to establish and advance inter-institutional cooperation between the two universities.

During this visit, in the central premises of the University of Granada, respectively in the Rector’s office, a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoU) was signed between the two institutions.

The Memorandum was signed by Rector Bajraktari and the Rector of the University of Granada, Prof. Pedro Mercado Pacheco. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization at the UGR, Prof. Inmaculada Marrero Rocha, as well as Prof. Angel Miguel Felices Lago from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the UGR.

On this occasion, the Rectors of both institutions, Rector Bajraktari and the Rector of the University of Granada, described this agreement as an important step towards strengthening international cooperation, emphasizing the opportunities it offers for joint academic and scientific development and the mobility of staff and students.

During the meeting, concrete opportunities for deepening cooperation between the two institutions were discussed, including the development of joint projects through international programs such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe and other relevant schemes.

The memorandum provides for cooperation in the academic, scientific and cultural fields, through the exchange of staff and students, the development of joint projects, support for mobility, joint scientific publications and the organization of joint academic activities.
