Faculty of Management students awarded second place in the “Stock Market Learning Competition”

Students of the Faculty of Management of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF), Yllka Jaha, Drilon Deda and Kastriot Jaha, in the period October 2025–January 2026, participated in the international educational project on the topic: Virtual Stock Exchange – “Learning about the Stock Exchange, 2025–2026”, a project organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, in cooperation with “Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung für Internationale Kooperation” – Embassy of Germany in Pristina.

Within the framework of the project, a competitive activity was organized among students from all universities in Kosovo, in the field of “Stock Market Learning”. In this competition, students of the Faculty of Management represented UShAF with excellent success, taking second place.

On 16.03.2026, they received awards from the Deputy Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Mr. Christian Böttcher, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mr. Ahmet Ismajli.

The award ceremony, on behalf of the Rector of UASF, Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ismail Mehmeti, and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Sokol Krasniqi.

Dean Mehmeti emphasized that this success is proof of the dedication of UASF professors and students to teamwork and their academic preparation, emphasizing the importance of linking theory with practice in the process of university education.

The activity aimed to enable students to advance their financial education and deepen their knowledge of capital markets, contributing to the linking of theory with practice in the field of finance and investments.
