UASF deepens cooperation with Deutsche Telekom in the era of digital transformation

The University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (UASF) has paid an official visit to Deutsche Telekom in Bonn, further strengthening its international engagement and cooperation with industry—the delegation, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Agron Bajraktari and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Artan Veseli was hosted by representatives of the company, creating opportunities for direct cooperation with one of the world’s leading telecommunications companies.

The visit constitutes an important step in the connection between academia and industry, especially in the context of digital transformation. The delegation was introduced to the most advanced practices in the evolution of networks, strategic innovation and management of digital infrastructures, while the discussions focused on coping with technological changes and maintaining operational excellence.

Rector Bajraktari expressed gratitude to Deutsche Telekom for the hospitality and said that the University remains committed to expanding international partnerships and strengthening ties with industry.

A special contribution to the realization of this cooperation was made by Driton Emini, Vice President for Strategy and Network Evolution, playing a key role in building the partnership between Deutsche Telekom and the university.

The visit emphasized the importance of continuously adapting curricula to market demands and integrating practical knowledge into teaching. This is in line with the strategic orientation of UASF towards applied education and preparing students for the labor market. The will for long-term cooperation in areas such as curriculum development, scientific research and capacity building was also reaffirmed.
